Going, Going, GONE!

We couldn't be more exicted to report that one of our loyal blog readers has jumped at the opportunity to come spend a day with all of us here at the Knight Agency. Let me tell you ladies and gents, Deanna Kent-McDonald is going to be taking quite the trip to make it down here to Madison! Hailing all the way from Northern Canada, Deanna had said she would hitch a ride via a plane, train, or automobile to make it to continental US where she could hop a plane to the great state of Georgia. Now that's enthusiasm!
We are all thrilled about the day we will be spending with Deanna. We are going to have a blast sharing with her some the inner workings of the agency life as well as the publishing industry. You all should be very jealous as we have an amazing day lined up for our lucky lady! We would like to thank everyone for the support they have showed us throughout this event, we have raised to date almost $18,000 - WAY TO GO TEAM!
And now for a little more about our winner:
Deanna Kent-McDonald is a Canadian novelist – author of WEST WIND, NORTH CHATTER. She loves salmon tempura, Vegas, finding Waldo, Starbuck’s lattes, and is still learning the finer points of spying from her fabulous two small boys. Her dreams include having an ocean-view in front of her laptop, owning a bulldog named Penelope, and trying to find balance in the marvelous vortex she calls her life.

You there at TKA are awesome. I can't believe this opportunity you have offered... I can't wait to meet you all, try fried green tomatoes, and absorb all I can about the industry!
And besides all of this, Northern Alberta temperatures in January can dip below forty degrees Celcius... I don't imagine they'll be a lot of snow in your neck of the woods?
