Take Home Tuesday

Today is a take home Tuesday you don't want to miss. With so many terrific novels releasing today you are sure to find a new book for your keeper shelf. Have a great reading day everyone!

New inspiration from the million-copy bestselling author of 90 Minutes in Heaven.

Don Piper's 90 Minutes in Heaven has sold more than a million copies and has been translated into 12 languages. Now, from "The Minister of Hope" comes the follow-up that millions of readers have been waiting for.

On January 18th, 1989, Don Piper died in a car accident. Ninety minutes later, after a preacher prayed over him, Piper came back to life with an extraordinary story. He'd been to heaven. So began the phenomenon of 90 Minutes in Heaven.

Now, for the millions who look to him for inspiration, Piper offers the hope that if he could survive his ordeal after the accident, then others can survive whatever life circumstances they're going through and grow in God's love through the experience. For Piper, heaven is a certainty-and so is God's grace. Relying on that assurance, believers can transform pain into purpose and troubles into blessings, finding joy in life even when life turns out not to be what they expected.

In one of the most searingly erotic Westerns ever penned, Charlene Teglia breaches uncharted territory. But reader beware: this tale is hotter than hell. The faint of heart should turn back now…

Three city girls from Seattle are enjoying a night out at a chic coffee house in downtown Missoula , Montana , the heart of the old West. When a gang of cowboys mosey in looking for trouble, they find trouble of the best kind… and these boys are primed and ready to ride. There’s Gabe, a hard-bodied rancher who’s discovered some imaginative new uses for rope. Chet, a rodeo cowboy who’s charmed the pants off more than a few country girls and vows to remain a bachelor for life. And Reuben, a former Army ranger with a taste for edgy sexual games. As the couples embark on a scorching night of passion and play, they experience the most exquisite pleasure—and discover kinky new thrills they never dared to imagine. Because when it comes to knocking boots, cowboys do it best…

FOR PROFIT AND PASSION…RAGE AND REVENGE.

FROM BLACK WIDOWS AND LONELY HEARTS TO ANGELS OF DEATH.

WHY DO WOMEN KILL?

How many of us are even remotely prepared to imagine our mothers, daughters, sisters or grandmothers as fiendish killers? For centuries we have been conditioned to think of serial murderers and psychopathic predators as men—with women registering low on our paranoia radar. Perhaps that’s why so many trusting husbands, lovers, family friends, and children have fallen prey to “the female monster.” In this fascinating book, Peter Vronsky exposes and investigates the phenomenon of women who kill—and the political, economic, social and sexual implications buried with each victim.

From history’s earliest recorded cases of homicidal females to Irma Grese, the Nazi Beast of Belsen, from Britain’s notorious child-slayer Myra Hindley to ‘Honeymoon Killer’ Martha Beck to the sensational cult of Aileen Wournos—the first female serial killer-as-celebrity—to cult killers, homicidal missionaries, and our pop-culture fascination with the sexy femme fatale, Vronsky not only challenges our ordinary standards of good and evil but also defies our basic accepted perceptions of gender role and identity.

BEYOND COOL by Bev Katz Rosenbaum

Apparently being frozen for ten years hasn't made me any cooler...

The next in the hot series about a girl whose life is really on the rocks.

Floe Ryan was frozen at sixteen because of a rare disease. Now she's been thawed back to her normal self-but everything else has changed: her little sister's older than her, her teachers are holograms, and she's learning to drive a hovercar. Plus, with her boyfriend acting distant and having to deal with all the cliques, high school is becoming an even colder place. She's also learned that those who were frozen are susceptible to illnesses, and the one doctor who can cure them has gone AWOL. Floe must find him. But she's learning that someone might be hunting for her too-and she could be iced for good this time.

SOMETHING SCARED KATE’S FRIEND TO DEATH. LITERALLY.

An unexpected phone call from a frantic, estranged friend sent scientist Kate Murphy to a rural town in Georgia . But neither woman made the meeting. Kate’s friend died mysteriously. And Kate herself was trapped in a horrific accident until rescued by Nolan Price, her friend’s handsome boss. And the widowed single father might know more about secrets and lies than he was telling.

Offered refuge in his house—which happened to be in the dark woods that so scared her friend—Kate sought the truth. But what she found would shock her—and her faith—to the core.

Mom-to-be Nicole Benedict rarely cut loose. So when a one-night stand led to an unplanned pregnancy, she went to track down Ethan Moore and share the happy news. Too bad a criminal mastermind and the bomb he launched in her direction got in the way…

As a bodyguard, Ethan was trained to protect people then walk away. But no amount of training had prepared him for protecting Nicole and his unborn child. Being the lone witness to the attack, Nicole had attracted a killer's attention—yet had no memory of that morning's events. Not only did Ethan's career hinge on this job, but if he failed, he could lose everything he'd never known he wanted...
