Paranormal send up

We all appreciate the great success of paranormal romances these past few years. It's a fun subgenre, both to read and to write, and it's been leaking over into several other genres, much to the amusement of many in the industry. But I think it's safe to agree that there's something a little ridiculous about vampires and werewolves and worrying about their love lives, isn't there? Most days it's hard enough to get it right with another human being, without having to worry about scheduling a date on the full moon...

The Paperback Writer blog has a great spoof of paranormals today, including their take on "normal" titles for the genre. Check it out for a good chuckle. Even TKA's own Gena Showalter got a friendly nudge from the blogger.

LOL! That was great! We all work very very hard at what we do -- but I think we lose something crucial if we lose our sense of humor.

In the middle of deadline hell; thanks for pointing me to this chuckle. I needed it!

The Smart Bitches are running a paranormal cover design contest that I thought would be perfect for you, Nephele. In all your free time. ;)
