"Why do Kindle owners hate books?" is the question a recent article on MSNBC.com asked. With the advent of Kindle, and now the sleeker, pencil-thin Kindle 2, books are seemingly becoming obsolete...well if you have $400 laying around to drop on this fancy-schmancy technology. MSNBC.com interviewed an unlikely Kindle owner to find out why she decided to forgo traditional books. Ah, the lure of technology is strong! Kindle is a nod to the fact that e-books are here to STAY, and the fact that all teens, which will soon be job-holding buyers, love anything that combines technology and "green".
I want one because sometimes my hands ache holding regular books.
I would love to own a Kindle, but it's not very dollar-wise at the moment. Sometime in the future, though, I'll be getting one.
