Just wanted to add a quick note to this. In order to access the room, you'll need Java on your computer. I think most everyone should have it, but if you want to check and make sure, you can go to the SigmaChat demo page here: http://www.sigmachat.com/demo.html. If the sample chat room loads, you're good to go. If not, there's a link to download the free Java software. See you all in the chat!
Thanks for the info Nephele! I'm sure we'll be tweaking here and there as we go along!
Oh, and a further addendum (because we use this program in our chat feature for my RWA chapter). If you are using a Mac ::raises hand:: it's better to use IE than Safari. It doesn't like Safari, and even with IE, I usually have to press "reload" a few times before it decides to like me.
I went to the SigmaChat demo as N suggests, and that worked fine. But when I followed Julie's link from the blog to the TKA chat site, I got this enoooooooormous TKA logo and no place to sign in. Is it just me?

No it's not just you, I got exactly the same thing! Argh, let me in, let me in!!
MC, as soon as the chat actually started, I was able to sign in. I've never used SigmaChat before, so I don't know what's normal.
Same thing happened to me. Did the chat start at nine? Cause I tried for a while but stopped around quarter after :(
