Chris Marie Green on MIDNIGHT REIGN, Vampire Babylon, Book Two

Last year, NIGHT RISING, Vampire Babylon, Book One, introduced readers to my noir-mystery-fantasy Hollywood world. There, they met the reluctant vampire hunter, Dawn Madison, plus her is-he-or-is-he-not rival slayer, Matt Lonigan. They also got to know (and had plenty of questions about!) Dawn’s mysterious boss, The Voice. But while Matt tried to help Dawn find her missing father, she and The Voice were also concentrating on the mystery of a presumed-dead child actor who somehow showed up in the background of a movie….

Well, we found out that the “child” had been swept into an underground vampire world, and Dawn is now hot on their trail. But as far as poor Frank goes? Still missing. However, in the second book, MIDNIGHT REIGN, readers are going to find out what happened to Dawn’s dad, even while the vampires draw Dawn into their tempting, erotically-charged depths.

Here’s a peek at what’s in store with MIDNIGHT REIGN when it’s released on February 5:

Midnight Reign, Vampire Babylon, Book Two

If you’ve read the Harry Potter books or have watched LOST, you know what it’s like to follow an ongoing mythology, so I’d suggest reading NIGHT RISING first (PLUG!). But either way, there are a lot of twists and turns for you mystery fans, and for those of you who want to follow the relationship between Dawn and The Voice…? There’s plenty of that, too. In fact, with BREAK OF DAWN, Book Three (out in September) you’re going to find out who “Jonah” really is when Dawn investigates him….

I hope you stop by my Web site at http://www.vampirebabylon.com/ because, among other things, I’m giving away a great prize for the contest. It’s a “museum quality” Giclee print called “Little Blood Sucker,” and it’s signed by the artist, Billy Martinez of Neko.
Isn’t it great? I’ve got one hanging on my own wall.

Thank you for reading, and happy hunting!
