TKA Chats Hosts Another Star Guest

Listen up! Tomorrow night (Wednesday) from 9-10 PM EDT, TKA chats will be hosting Robin Owens as our 3rd chat star! So get those questions ready.

Not signed up yet for TKA's yahoo group? Click here for more information on how to get involved with the TKA chats! Also, before we jump into how awesome Robin is and how grateful we are of her willingness to chat with us, here is a review of how things work during these "official" chat times:

*The moderator will start and close the chat promptly at the designated time unless the guest has approved an extension.
*When you have a question, simply type an "?". The moderator will keep a list and call on each person as it becomes her turn and when the guest is ready for the next question.
*Most likely you will be kicked off at some point... simply log back in and jump back into the chat. Unfortunately, it's a yahoo thing. We are currently researching better options for our chats.

Rockin' Robin Owens: Recipient of the 2002 RWA RITA Award and the 2004 RMFW Writer of the Year award, Robin Owens excels when writing paranormal romance. Some of Robin’s other awards include: 2005 Award of Excellence for Heart Duel by the Reviewer's International Organization, 2005 PEARL for Heart Duel as Best Futuristic, 2005 Honorable Mention for Heart Duel as Best Overall Paranormal Book, 2004 PRISM for Heart Thief as Best Futuristic, 2004 Writer of the Year by the Denver Area Science Fiction Association (DASFA), 2004 Writer of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Recently, her fantasy/futuristic romances found a home at Berkley with the issuance of HeartMate in December 2001. Her Luna Books include shape-shifting fairies and average American women summoned to another world to fight monstrous evil with Guardian of Honor published in February of 2005.

And that's just in the past few years...but wait... there's more!

Robin has been a member of Romance Writers of America and the Futuristic Fantasy & Paranormal Chapter for several years and serves as the FF&P e-loop moderator. She also belongs to Colorado Romance Writers and Pikes Peak Romance Writers. Robin has judged in the Molly, Ignite the Flame, Great Expectations, Colorado Gold and Golden Heart contests. She has given seminars at Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Colorado Gold Conference and Pikes Peak Writing Conference and Colorado Romance Writers.

On a more personal note...

She has been the librarian, contest co-chair, and President of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Her other creative outlet is as a member of the Lungfish Theater improv group. Robin's website: http://www.robindowens.com/ is updated monthly, and she is particularly proud of her "Free The Artist" page that includes an affirmation, creativity exercise, and motivational quote, as well as the Story Machine to help unblock artists of all mediums.

As you can see, you don't want to miss tomorrow's chat!
